ABOUT THE GAME

Rainy Skies is an RPG set in a dystopian cyberpunk world. You start the game with very little money and try your best to make something for yourself. The main story follows a girl named Mabel and as you meet and gain allies you can move on to other stories. The game primarily takes place inside a vertical megastructure known as the Pillar.

It is divided into 3 layers: tropes, Stratos, and mesos; while the quality of life increases dramatically as you scale between them. Most of the game will be spent figuring out how to move between layers. There are several ways to do this, but none of them will be easy.

You start the game on foot, but eventually take your own spaceship, which will be your primary means of navigating the various locations around the Pillar. It will be an open-world game where most of the gameplay will revolve around doing odd jobs and finding ways to earn money.
