Inspired by Ireland’s thriving street food scene, we launched South Indian Street Food. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were unable to set up a stationary place. Therefore, we opted for a food truck concept. We acquired a Volkswagen Crafter van, which was transformed into a mobile Dosa kitchen during the pandemic. We take pride in being the first authentic South Indian food truck in Ireland, serving this unique cuisine. As the world gradually returns to normal after a couple of years, Dosa Dosa has secured an old car parking space. We saw an opportunity to bring together street food from different regions under one roof. Hence, we decided to establish The Place Street Food Yard, hosted by Dosa Dosa. The Yard now offers a variety of street food from around the globe.
