What is Dosa?
A Dosa is soft crispy Indian-style crepe, cooked using a fermented batter of rice, black beans and fenugreek seeds. Originating in South India, it has a unique taste and aroma that is not only flavourful but also heathy. Traditionally a breakfast dish, it is widely served for lunch and dinner as well owing to its wide popularity.
The Dosa can be eaten plain or with delicious fillings, most common being the masala potato filling. Rich South Indian Chutneys and Sambhar (lentil soup with vegetables) are usually served as accompaniments.
The DosaDosa food truck now brings this authentic South Indian dish to Ireland. Find us at the local farmers' markets!
