Dosa Dosa (“the Company”) owns www.dosadosa.ie (“the Site”) which uses cookies. By using the Site and agreeing to this policy, you consent to the Company’s use of cookies in accordance with these terms.

Cookies are small files sent by web servers to web browsers, stored by browsers, and sent back each time a page is requested. This enables us to identify and track web browsers. There are two main kinds of cookies: session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (remain stored until deleted or expired).

This Cookies Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By accessing the Site, you agree this policy will apply whenever you use the Site on any device. Any changes will be posted on the Site.

The Company may collect information automatically when you visit, using cookies to identify your computer and recall details about your last visit. You can disable cookies, but some features of the Site may not function as intended.

We use:
a) Analytics Cookies – to see how visitors move around the Site and which areas are visited most.
b) Remarketing Cookies – to show display adverts after you have visited our website (stored for 3 days).

GIFT VOUCHERS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Validity – Vouchers have no expiry date. While they may state one year, we will always honour them. Dosa Dosa vouchers can only be redeemed at Dosa Dosa.

Delivery – Vouchers can be purchased in-house or online and delivered via email.

Booking – Voucher bookings must be made in advance by phone or email and are subject to availability.

Refunds – Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a balance remains, it will be issued as a voucher.

Lost or Stolen – Vouchers are the customer’s responsibility. Lost/stolen vouchers cannot be replaced unless the reference number is available.

PRIVACY POLICY

We value the privacy and protection of personal data. Dosa Dosa adheres to the principles of the Data Protection Acts 1998 & 2003 and GDPR 2018. We will:

  • Obtain and process information fairly.

  • Keep it only for lawful purposes.

  • Use/disclose it only in ways compatible with those purposes.

  • Keep it secure, accurate, and up to date.

  • Retain it no longer than necessary.

  • Provide a copy upon written request.

Your Data & GDPR – We collect customer data for purposes such as reservations, marketing (with consent), and website analytics. You can review, update, or request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@dosadosa.ie.

Storing & Transferring Data – Your data may be transferred outside the EU for processing and storage. We take all reasonable measures to ensure it is stored securely. However, sending data over the internet is at your own risk.

RESERVATIONS

When making a reservation, we may collect your name, phone, email, and payment details. This is stored securely by our reservations partner (currently ResDiary) and used solely for managing your booking.

DELIVERY POLICY

We deliver locally within a defined radius (checkable via our website). Delivery charge is €3. Our drivers may contact you if they have difficulty finding your address.

WI-FI USAGE

Dosa Dosa offers free in-house Wi-Fi. Use is at your own risk.

MARKETING DATABASE

We collect marketing data through:

  • Website subscriptions

  • Competitions (with opt-in)

  • Reservation opt-ins

Data may be stored by third parties such as MailChimp, Google, Facebook, and Twitter for campaigns and remarketing.

You can unsubscribe from any platform individually or request full deletion from all marketing lists by emailing info@dosadosa.ie.

HOW LONG WE HOLD YOUR DATA

We keep your data for up to 18 months, unless needed for ongoing reservations or events.
